What it is

Let go first, so there is room to receive.

Pleasure Unleashed is a liberating, embodied afternoon that pairs the somatic practice of Shaking Medicine with the intimacy of conscious self-pleasure. The order matters: we move what has been held before we go looking for what is underneath it.

Perhaps you have been feeling disconnected from your body. Holding tension. Overthinking, rushing, performing. Or perhaps you are already at home in your confidence and your sexuality, and you simply know there is more available — more sensation to awaken, more freedom to explore, more of you waiting to be unleashed.

We begin with Shaking Medicine, a somatic practice that works with the body's own capacity for movement and therapeutic tremoring. Through breath, movement and sound you are invited to loosen habitual holding and let the thinking mind take a little holiday while the body leads.

From that more open place, we journey into pleasure — slowly, curiously, and with nothing to achieve. No performance. No pressure. No trying to do it right. Just you, your body, your truth and your own expression of pleasure.

The afternoon

Release · Awaken · Integrate

  1. I

    Arrive & open

An opening circle and cacao ceremony. You land in the room, meet the women beside you and let the pace slow right down before anything at all is asked of you.

  2. II

    Shake it loose

Embodiment practice and Shaking Medicine — breath, movement, sound and therapeutic tremoring. The body's own way of moving tension that thinking alone can rarely reach.

  3. III

    The circle

The self-pleasure circle opens with a facilitated demonstration, so the practice is understood rather than guessed at. Then you turn inward into your own journey, at your own pace and entirely on your own terms.

  4. IV

    Land & integrate

A closing meditation to gather what moved, so you leave settled and resourced rather than opened and adrift.

Who it's for

Come curious. Come nervous. Come exactly as you are.

You do not need to be sexually confident, and you do not need any experience with tantra, somatic practice or Shaking Medicine. You are welcome exactly where you are. This afternoon is for you if:

  • You want to feel more connected to your body
  • You find yourself overthinking during intimacy or pleasure
  • You want to explore pleasure without pressure or performance
  • You're curious about Shaking Medicine and the body's natural tremoring response
  • You want more freedom in your movement, expression and sensuality
  • You'd like to explore self-pleasure in a conscious, supportive women's space
  • Or simply — you want an afternoon to come home to yourself and to your own joy

Please read this first

Before you book

So that you can arrive knowing exactly what you are walking into, and decide freely whether it is right for you:

  • This is a women-only circle, and it is strictly 18+.
  • It includes a guided conscious self-pleasure practice, and a facilitated demonstration forms part of the container.
  • Nudity is present in the space and is entirely optional. You choose what you wear, what you explore, and what you sit out — in every moment, without explanation.
  • There is no sexual interaction between participants. This is a personal practice, held within a group.
  • Every practice is invitational. You can modify anything, and you can pause, rest or step out at any point.

This workshop is not trauma therapy and is not designed for intensive trauma processing. If you have a significant trauma history, are pregnant, have a recent injury or surgery, a serious medical condition, a history of seizures, or you are simply unsure whether the practices are right for you, please talk with Scarlett before booking.

The full description, the complete FAQs and ticketing all live on Eventbrite. Please read them before you book — and if anything is still unclear, reach out. No question is too big, too small or too awkward.

Good to know

Questions, gently answered

What is Shaking Medicine?
Shaking Medicine is a somatic practice that works with the body's natural capacity for shaking and therapeutic tremoring. Through movement, breath and sound we create the conditions in which spontaneous shaking can emerge. No previous experience is necessary.
What if I can't make my body shake?
That's completely fine. There is nothing to force and no particular experience you need to have. You'll be guided through different ways of exploring movement and shaking, always listening to your own body.
I've never explored self-pleasure in a space like this. Is that okay?
You are very welcome. No previous experience is needed. The journey is guided gradually, and you take part at your own pace and to whatever degree feels right for you.
What if I feel shy or nervous?
That is completely welcome — many women feel nervous before an experience like this. You will never be pressured to share personal information, to undress, or to participate beyond what feels right for you.
Is there a goal or an outcome I need to reach?
Absolutely not. There is no goal and no expectation of any particular outcome. This afternoon is about curiosity, sensation and listening to your body — not about achieving anything.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely, and most women do. The opening circle is designed to help you arrive, settle and feel met before anything deeper begins.
Can I come if I'm menstruating?
Yes. You are welcome to attend while menstruating and to adapt the practices in whatever way feels supportive for your body.
Is this suitable if I have a history of trauma?
This workshop is not trauma therapy and is not designed as a space for intensive trauma processing. If you have a significant trauma history, are currently experiencing acute psychological distress, or are unsure whether the practices are appropriate for you, please contact Scarlett before booking.
Are there reasons I shouldn't take part in Shaking Medicine?
Some physical or psychological conditions need modification or extra support. If you are pregnant, have a recent injury or surgery, a serious medical condition, a history of seizures, or are currently experiencing significant psychological instability, please contact Scarlett before booking.
Where do I find the full details and book?
Tickets and the complete event description and FAQs are on Eventbrite. Please read them in full before booking so you can feel into whether this experience is right for you. If you'd rather ask Scarlett directly first, you're very welcome to.
